North Pole Tenderfoot - THEATRICAL REVIEWS
North Pole Tenderfoot is a carefully structured monologue containing dramatic peaks and valleys and plenty of self-deprecating humor. In that way, it is very reminiscent of actor Spalding Gray’s work and indeed has much the same rhythm as Swimming to Cambodia, Gray’s best-known monologue.
North Pole Tenderfoot is surprising and, as intended, inspirational. At a time when it seems as if every inch of the globe has been explored, Hall renews our sense of adventure. Hall’s terrific anecdotes from the top of the world create a gripping and memorable story. The show, as Hall would say, is “cool!”
Charles Mandel, Theatre Critic, The Guardian Newspaper
North Pole Tenderfoot is hugely inspirational. It’s an evening of laughter, tears, sheer excitement, sheer terror, sheer joy!
Scott MacAuley, Theatrical Producer
Very fun! I had a smile on the whole show (which I noticed was making my cheeks sore by the end!!) – This, of course, was a good thing - a very good thing! What a great adventure story!
